It provides tons of info about how users utilize our website. I especially like the detilas that I can drill down into. It is really easy to set up and maintain. Onyl recently has there been a change so substantial that it required some disuption to my usage, but even that was resolved rather quickly.
To get the most out of it you need to tie it to Google Search Console. I can see why the products are seperated, but they go so well together that they really should combine them, imo.
Google Analytics lets us see how people get to our website, what they spend time doing on our website, and how/when we are losing people. When we tie it to marketing efforts we can easily see which initiatives are working and which ones are not.

We have been using google analytics for years and they recenelty came out with a few new features that have helped us out a ton! It is awesome to get real time tracking on how our website users are behaving, where they are from. I have been able to seemlyessly intergrate these on multiple company websites, and our leadership team uses the data monthly to shape how we use the tool.
It is a little complicated to set up, just support is always so helpful as well as our interal IT department.
They solve the mystery behind who and how eveyone is using our websites. It drives how we push sales and feature products and services.
The ease of use. We have enabled google analytics on all mobile resources clients send from our mobile app, giving them for analytics into what is happening with that resource. Has it been opened, has it been viewed if it's a video, if so how long, etc. This gives the company the ability to see what content is working and what is not working.
I don't have any downsides of Google Analytics. We have enjoyed using it all around.

Google Analytics is a very very detailed tool. Shows your visitors on the website in real-time, along with this we can also track web pages and locations of the real-time traffic. Basically, most people use this tool for checking the visitors on the website by various mediums (like Direct traffic, organic traffic, email traffic, referral traffic, social traffic). But this can also be used to track your landing page's performance. Which pages are converting and which are not. You can check the bounce rate and session duration for the content you have written and can get insights like whether your content is engaging the people or not. Along with this, this tool also provides us the details like demographics, geographical locations, the behavior of the visitors, what device, browser, and network are being used by the visitors, so that we can optimize our websites accordingly. You can interconnect Google analytics and Google ads and the traffic and conversions from Ads can be tracking in Google Analytics. Under the behavior tab, we can track the performance of our content, can check our website speed and also allows us to create experiments. For tracking the conversions on our website, we need to set up the conversion tracking, for this, we have to place the code in our coding part. Also, we can use UTM parameters in the hyperlinks we are creating, and if that link gets any traffic, it will be reflected in our Analytics tool under source/medium. Google Analytics also allows us to create our own dashboard, as per our requirements, and track the performance accordingly. If we want to filter data from any source or IP, for that e can use filters and exclude that IP in our views.
These days there is a glitch in analytics, the total count of users column sometimes doesn't match when we count that number personally. And also, when we add Google Analytics tracking code, it slows down the speed of the website and impacts the metrics of core web vitals. Apart from that, there is nothing that I dislike about Google Analytics.

There is definitely nothing I don't like about Google Analytics. With the arrival of GA4, I understand that there are improvements that are yet to be implemented, sometimes there is a delay in monitoring App data, but this is resolved the next day.

I love that Google Analytics can track data on an end users website so when you have to pull reports for clients it becomes that much easier and its 100% accurate.
I dont really like dislike anything about GA but if I had to pick one thing I guess I could say I wish installing the tracking and setting up goals was a bit easier.
